Choosing a portrait photographer can be challenging, there are so many great ones out there! So why me? My commitment to my clients’ happiness could not be higher, and I have a way of seeing someone how they’d like to see themselves in a photograph. The perspective & pose (even in candid moments), the expression, the location, and the lighting all must come together, and I approach this with depth of knowledge and great care. It is through years of experience that I am able to create portraits that look natural, flattering, and visually interesting.
As trends have come and gone, I have done my best to maintain a classic, timeless feel in my editing style.

about me
I have been an independently working photographer since 2009, documenting families, high school seniors, pregnancies, newborn babies, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and births. It has been a pleasure to create long-term client relationships - and true friendships - throughout the years. While my own life unfolds in unexpected, beautiful, and challenging ways, I have always loved how capturing the lives of others has given me creative expression and a meaningful service to provide. This has been a constant throughout the past 16+ years, though I have evolved as a person and as a photographer.
I am married and have three children. I also work as a high school special education paraprofessional, and I love working with kids of all ages. My family is my priority, and we love to travel and spend time outdoors. Our kids are extremely busy, which means my husband and I are extremely busy. In my free time, when I have any, I can be found running… it helps keep my mind clear and my heart strong, and so much more.
