Newborns take extra time and care, and newborn photography is no exception.

This is why I bring absolutely infinite patience and calm to each newborn session. I believe babies can sense our emotions, and I will never feel stressed or frustrated, even with the fussiest of little ones. My experience with infants can give you confidence that I will make safety, comfort, and clean hands a top priority. I love to pose infants (or let them pose themselves!) in ways that are natural and comfortable, rather than contortions that would never occur on their own. I want you to remember your precious baby in a way that is realistic but thoughtfully planned.

Plan on at least 2-3 hours, to account for getting the baby settled, as well as feeding, soothing, and changing as needed. Newborns are best photographed within the first 2 weeks after they are born.
